RAYRAY - Ray Hinkle
Manager/Bassist/Musical Director/Webmaster
Born into a family of jazz musicians, RayRay's early influences were mostly horn players:
Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, etc. He always loved the bass
and was really impressed by:  Ron Carter, Ray Brown, and Paul Chambers.
It wasn't until his late teens and early twenties that he began listening to rock and realized
that blues was the common denominator and the root of all popular music.
Inspired by: Albert Collins, Lightnin' Hopkins, BB King, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson,
Big Bill Broonzy and others, RayRay stays firmly rooted in the blues and continues to be a
driving force on the music scene today.

JURIS - Juris Drigants
Rock Solid Keeper of the Groove
Hailing from SW Michigan, Juris is a formally trained musician. He began his career in
the fifth grade playing with his school's concert band, marching band
and orchestra, performing in football halftime shows, parades and classical concerts. He
also joined several blues and rock bands, appearing at festivals, dances, nightclubs,
private parties and opened for Alice Cooper at a major rock festival.
Moving to Phoenix in 1991, Juris has played with several blues and rock bands,
most notably with Myklos and Shake before teaming up with RayRay to form BLUZONE
in early 2004.  His infectious beat keeps you dancing all night.
Jeff England (guitar & vocals) was born in 1962 in Mossy Rock, Washington into a
musical family. Everyone sang or played some kind of instrument around the house.
Before leaving Tacoma to come to Phoenix in 1998, he played alongside some Pacific
Northwest legends which included: Little Bill and The Blue Notes, Joe Johanson (Dave
Lewis Trio, Floating Bridge), Rich Dangel (The Fabulous Wailers), Jho Blenis
(Big Nasty, Bump Kitchen), Jerry Miller (Moby Grape), and lead a 9 to 11 piece
(depending who showed up) rock & roll blues band called “Little Neon.” Last, but certainly
not least, his father, Clifford “Buck” England (Hammond B-3 player extraordinaire) taught
him how to play understated and not too flashy. Dad always said, “Make every note sing.”
